Luis, a 13-year veteran of Major League Baseball, played for five different World Series Championship teams. He is also one of the top 10 contact hitters in the history of The Dominican League and through 2010 is the current all time Caribbean Series leader in hits, runs and doubles.
Further, let’s go to Santo Domingo, where Luis runs the Polonia Baseball Academy and works year round with aspiring young Dominican baseball players. He trains & develops young athletes to become future MLB stars. Since its inception Polonia Baseball Academy has had 32 players signed by MLB teams through his showcases. He cares about his team & his players & emphasizes sound baseball fundamentals and ethical and honorable competition.
